Last month, a dear friend of mine had her second baby girl. I had the privilege of taking a few photos for them in the hospital the next day. I may or may not have a mild case of baby fever as a result. Watching her big sister gently touch her nose or head, kiss her forehead and say "Baby Care (Claire)" was almost too much to handle!

There is such a sweet tenderness that comes in those first few days. The labor is done and the time for connection has come.

Watching these beautiful friends connect as a new family of four was a joy I will never forget.
