On October 7th, my best friend got married. If you had told me thirteen years ago (when we met), that she would be marrying a Scotsman in her parents' front yard, and that I would be taking her wedding photos... I'm not sure I could have pictured it. All these years later, it has been a joy watching her fall in love with James. Their story is light-hearted and beautiful, and I am so, so honored that I was able to document their day.

It was a grey, rainy, autumn afternoon... which made inside her parents' home even cozier, and the beautiful trees outside vivid with greenery and life. The rain stopped just long enough for the chairs to be dried and the ceremony performed. It was an intimate wedding with family and close friends, then later we headed to a local brewery for a big celebration with lots of food, drinks, and dancing :)

It was a gorgeous wedding, and all day Hollis and James were both radiating joy. What a gift it was to be there, and to have these beautiful people in my life!
